Ode to apolitical scientists

I'm mostly tied up with journalism work this week, but it's a good time to highlight this classic gem from Tom Lehrer, an ode to Wernher Von Braun, patron saint of "apolitical" scientists. It's funny, and a lovely thing to keep in mind the next time someone idealizes science without all those inconvenient "limits," or, for that matter, tries to pretend that the estimable profession is something more than humans, pursuing a human method of understanding.
